Because the packaging is made of paperboard and is plastic-free, there is no twist mechanism. Just push on the cardboard disc at the bottom of the tube to push the balm up. As you use it, just push the bottom up to reveal more balm! It may need bit of a hard push the first time to release the seal.
*MELT WARNING* In the warmer months balms are prone to melting at high temperatures. If your package is warm when you receive it, place your Magic Balm in the fridge or freezer right side up for a few hours before using. Store in a cool place.
