YOUTH Perfume Oil

Beautiful, soft fragrance. I love it!

I was so excited to receive this beautiful perfume oil. And it didn’t disappoint. It is fresh and natural and unique. I get compliments every time I wear it which is everyday! Love it and all the “potions”. Thank you!

I can’t stop smelling my wrists! So, I simply HAD to add to my earlier review now that I’ve been wearing Youth for 5 hours.

Youth is the moment the sun first touches the earth each morning - a quiet gold unfurling across warm skin. It begins with light: a citrus breath, soft and shimmering, like a curtain lifting to reveal a newly awakened world.

Then the heart emerges - lush, petal-soft ylang-ylang wrapped in green-rose geranium, a bouquet not gathered, but grown naturally from the body itself.

As the day deepens, the ancient soul of the fragrance rises: sandalwood, warm as skin still carrying sunlight; patchouli, grounded and knowing; frankincense and myrrh, the smoke of old prayers and the sweetness of stories kept close to the chest.

Youth does not evoke innocence - it is the glow of someone who has lived, loved, learned,
and still chooses to open.

On me, Youth doesn’t sit on top of the skin - it folds into me. My skin’s natural warmth pulls the resin and wood forward, giving the perfume a honeyed, skin-kissed glow, as if the fragrance is exhaled rather than applied.

The opening - neroli and lemon myrtle -
was bright and creamy, not sharp, lifting me like soft morning light across my shoulders.

The florals melt into me: ylang-ylang becomes velvety, geranium becomes cool and herbaceous,
creating a halo that feels both delicate and sensual.

But the real magic is in the base. The sandalwood and incense smell like warm amber captured in fabric, a sacred quiet I carry with me like something intimate, luminous, and ancient.

It smells like a beautiful contradiction:
soft but powerful, calming but compelling, earthy but radiant. It’s youthful not because it smells “young,” but because it smells alive, glowing, unfolding.

This isn’t a “pretty” fragrance; it’s an energetic one. It makes me feel more centred, more sensuous, more inspired, more emotionally open, and more in my body. It evokes renewal,
vitality, sensual awakening and the feeling of stepping into a golden hour version of myself.

On me it’s less “Youth” and more Eternal Youth, as it’s a fragrance that smells like someone who has lived richly, knows who she is,
and wears her depth like a silk shawl.

A true work of art!

I’ve been an avid Perfumista for decades. I’ve tried more fragrances (mostly niche and high-end) than I care to admit and have a ridiculous fragrance wardrobe. I’ve been wishing on stars that Sylvan and Joy would branch out into perfumery, so I couldn’t wait to place my order for Youth Perfume Oil.

It arrived this morning and I immediately ripped open the box and rolled it on. I’ve been wearing it for a few hours now and it’s performing so much better than I’d dared hope! The sillage is impressively moderate to strong and its longevity shows no signs of waning.

I would describe Youth as a Woody Oriental (Woody Amber) fragrance with Floral Accents
The opening is sparkling, radiant and luminous thanks to Neroli and Lemon Myrtle. After about an hour it starts to become creamy, green and slightly spicy with just the faintest whisper of mint, creating a lush, exotic floral heart with a cooling green nuance. It holds steady for a very long time before woody Sandalwood, earthy Patchouli, bright smoky resinous Frankincense and sweet warm balsamic Myrrh slowly begin to appear.

Right now I would describe the scent on my skin as a mystical, earthy, botanical, bohemian fragrance that is spa-like yet opulent. It’s a
warm skin-scent with a meditative depth and is unlike anything in my Fragrance Wardrobe. It’s quite mesmerizing and I’d say it’s a 4-season, all-occasion perfume. EXCEPTIONAL JOB, LADIES! BRAVO!!! 👏
